ABOUT THIS ARTWORK:
This painting depicts a Belted Galloway mother and her young calf in a peaceful spring pasture. Known by many as "Oreo Cookie Cows," these cows originated in southwestern Scotland around 1921. A small herd of them can sometimes be seen on the scenic byways out in "chateau country" in Greenville, Delaware near my home.
This painting makes a very special Mother's Day present or birthday for mom, or baby shower gift for a new mother. This painting has a highly tactile, textured quality to capture the wooly coats of the cows and also the grasses and flowers in the surrounding landscape.

DIMENSIONS:
