The Brown Scapular was revealed by Our Lady of Mt. Carmel to Saint Simon Stock in 1251, Our Lady promised “Whosoever dies hot piously wearing this Scapular shall not suffer eternal flames. It shall be a sign of peace and a safeguard in times of danger” Those who wear a Brown Scapular honor Our Lady at all times and are placing themselves under the special protection of the blessed Virgin Mary.

This handmade Scapular was created to keep a permanent and removable record of blessing details and the Scapular promise prayer card within the Scapular. You, or the loved one you give this to will forever know that this special Scapular was blessed and has been documented with all the details. Available in 8mm. French vintage 1930's gold wool straps, 4mm. brown twisted cord and 6mm. brown herringbone ribbon. All Scapulars have permanently stitched straps, cord and ribbon.

This Scapular is made from 100% wool with water-resistant cloth graphics to withstand anointing with Holy Water when being blessed. Handmade in the USA. Scapular is not blessed. Clean with lint brush and damp cloth only.
