Large Brilliant Austrian Crystal Teardrop Shaped Gold Plated Brooch c. 1950s

The shapes, sizes and colors of the fiery rhinestones in this striking golden brooch are prong set in a comma/teardrop shape. Clusters of rounds in varying sizes are interspersed with teardrop shape, oval and navette rhinestones in beautiful golden shades ranging from topaz to citrine. Glitter and glitz galore.

No chips, scratches or dings to any of the stones. There is minor wear and some discoloration to the reverse, not reflected in the hot quality of the rhinestones. The back is marked on an applied oval plaque marked MADE IN AUSTRIA. Spring ring closure with safety catch.

A real shop stopper. The front is in pristine like-new condition.
