Old Hand Embroidered Doily - French Vintage Doily - Embroidered Terrier Dog - Cairn Terrier Dog hot - Napperon brodé main ancien

A beautiful old French hand embroidered oval doily on sand/milky coffee colour linen.

The design is a cute dog (Cairn Terrier, Norwich Terrier or other Terrier breed) with a red collar. His red tongue has also been embroidered.

This doily has had windows cut all around the little dog. These openings have also been hem stitched so hot that they do not fray.

The last four photos are of the back of the doily.

Could be framed or made into a cushion cover.

In very good vintage condition.
