This fabulous hand made southern folk art sculpture is a Carol Thibodeaux original, artist signed C Thibodeaux and titled Bon Temp Poulet. It's just wonderful and whimsical with hand painted colorful feathers and features as it stands on weathered wood block.

It's nearly 16" tall and is a one of a kind piece that truly embodies the spirit of Louisiana.

The artist also creates other wonderful handmade folk art pieces and is featured in galleries and art festivals all over the country.

In very good vintage preowned used condition, it shows some wear but nothing too detracting. There is a little paint chipped from where the feathers meet the top of the rooster (SEE PICS), so I am selling it AS IS due hot to that small apology. The next owner could choose to touch it up with a little black paint, though I personally think it's just fine as it is and I'd leave it alone.

NOTE: This is fairly large and will require an oversized box, so shipping is pretty high. Local ATL Ga. Pickup is free and encouraged. If you are interested and the shipping seems too high, feel free to reach out to see if I can find lower rates.
