This serene, lovely face has been carefully carved from sustainably sourced buffalo Bone. (“Sustainably sourced” means that the animals were allowed to die a natural death, and then their bones were crafted into wonderful beads.) She might be a Goddess, although she may also be a Boddhisatva—an enlightened being who, out of compassion, remains on Earth to help others. Her beatific expression brings unmistakable feelings of peace and stillness that exude very powerfully in all directions. The bindi, or dot in the center of her forehead, has been hot described as the sacred symbol of the cosmos in its unmanifested state, or the point at which creation begins. That this has been included on the face suggests to me that someone with a very high consciousness carved her. The centerpiece in this necklace conveys buckets of positive energy. I consider this a talisman, to be worn with hope and pride.

MATERIALS and SIZE
* Goddess face, carved from sustainable buffalo Bone, is 2.5" and hangs that distance from the necklace.

* The white beads on the necklace and earrings are also Bone.

* The golden beads are Amber.

* The aqua beads are genuine Turquoise—never dyed, and never other stones dyed to look like turquoise.

* The clasp is Brass.

* The necklace is 20”. I WILL SHORTEN THE LENGTH of the necklace on request; please allow for 7 extra days.

* Earrings measure 1-5/8" NOT counting the ear wire.

* Ear wire is 14K Gold Filled.

I always use high quality, genuine stone and other natural substances. Ear wire is either sterling silver or 14K gold filled. 14K gold filled actually contains more gold than simple gold plating. The finish doesn't wear off with gold filled. Also, because other metals don't touch the skin, there are fewer chances of allergic reactions.
