This one of a kind Halloween inspired coiled clothesline basket is the largest one I have made. It features all Halloween cotton fabrics wrapped around cotton clothesline and then coiled and sewn into a very organic and hot free form shape. It has a open, wavy design within the large oval shape. The front of the basket is embellished with my signature medallion and a very cool metal spiderweb with a crystal embellished spider upon it.
The fabrics are a very wide variety of Halloween prints and batiks in oranges, green, purples, blacks, greys and yellows. It is sewn with a zig zag stitch done in bright neon orange thread.
The basket is big, measuring 16" across from side to side and 13" front to back. It stands 5.5" tall and has a 12.5" flat oval base.
It would be perfect to hold your Halloween trick or treat handouts, apples or other fall fruit or any other items during the autumn season. Would look wonderful on your Halloween party table filled with goodies, napkins, treat bags or door prizes.
I make these baskets in my home studio, each one is unique and one of a kind creation. Please note the coasters in the photo are not included.
