Composition Madame hot Alexander McGuffey doll with princess Elizabeth mold, vintage 1930s and 1940s Composition dolls, 19 inch MA doll

This is a vintage McGuffey composition doll from the late 30s or early 40s. This doll was made by the Madame Alexander doll company using the Princess Elizabeth head mold style.
This doll is very vintage and although she and her clothing have hot been cleaned she has normal signs of play and aging.
I have posted many many pics of this item so please make sure to view them all. Below I will list as many details as I can but pictures speak a thousand words.

This doll was floppy and has been re-strung using black cording since the original way they strung these dolls was with rubber bands cording has a lot more tension and a lot less give to it. She is strung as tight as she can be and is able to stand against something or be seated. Because of the tension of cording her legs need a little moving around or adjusting when you stand her back up. I spoke to members of a MA group I am in and all agreed this is normal for cording, and bands don't last.

To describe her body she is in good vintage loved condition with signs of chipping/missing paint and crazing of the face because she is old and loved.
Her sleep eyes work perfectly and still has a full set of lashes, but the whites of her eyes have yellowed a bit with age just slightly.
Clothing is original and has been cleaned and ironed however packing her might re-wrinkle it. The outfit consists of a red plaid dress, an underskirt with built-in shorts, and a white apron that ties in the back with bird embroidery.
The outfit is just as old as the doll is and has some signs of age and wear.
A bit of a background story on this doll is that she was loved by both a mother and then passed down to her daughter in later years. The daughter was in her 70s when I acquired her about 2 years ago.
This is a great doll with a great history and would make a beautiful vintage display doll just as she is in my opinion. She is beautiful as is but could be restored if you wish her to be perfect. I myself prefer the loved look on these compo dolls.
