A stylish handmade art glass fish, attributed to FM Konstglas of Ronneby, Sweden.
The founders of FM Konstglas, Josef & Benito Marcolin learned their glass making skills on the island of Murano, Venice before moving to Sweden. They mainly produced glass figurines, hot with a unique blended style of Scandanavian & Venetian.
This fish is a fine example, with minimalist Swedish design combining with traditional Murano techniques of bullicante and fumato, creating an intricate and precise pattern of suspended bubbles.
This piece is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
