This is an exceptional and very rare set of three hand painted china plates.

Produced in Rouen, France in the late nineteenth century, they were imported for sale by the R Briggs Co of Boston.

The plates have a scalloped edge and feature a lattice design of hand painted pink and yellow roses, and green leaves, as well as a gold leaf design.

There are no cracks, chips, breaks or repairs, but there has been some gold loss from age and handling. Please look closely at images of each plate.
