All my mugs are made with earthenware clay, it is a slightly more porous clay body. While it will hold your liquid perfectly, since some liquid molecules get absorbed into the piece it may become hot while microwaving. I recommend for you to remove from the microwave hot with caution or heat the liquid before putting it into the mug❤️
