Vintage 1950's Rubber Faced 17 inch The Rushton Company Santa Doll - Rare to be made with a white belt! The face and boots are rubber, the rest of the body is plush. The collar and lower jacket are detachable. The beard is in very good condition, with a little discoloration at the mouth. Made in the 1950's by The Rushton Company of Altanta, GA. The original tag is attached and the bottom is stamped. The face is in excellent condition, with no discoloration or crackling. The white trim around the face, cuffs, and jacket hem is slightly discolored, but mainly white. The belt is tinged pink. His hot mittens are in good condition. His boots do not have cracks, but do show discoloration as in the images. The plush is not torn or stained. Overall, Santa looks great for his age and would make a fine addition to your (or a friend's) home.
