This handmade Edge grain cutting board is made from Cherry, Purple Heart, Walnut. All of our boards are made with FDA approved wood glue and finished with our own bees' wax wood conditioner. Our boards are TRUE Edge grain boards, which means that we cut, sand, and glue together each individual strip that goes into the board. This is for a more durable board and overall life of the board. This will last a lifetime as long as it is taken care of. All of our boards are 16"x11 1/2" + or- a 1/2" and 1" to 1 1/4" thick. All of our boards are 100% natural, all of the colors that are in the boards came from the tree. None of our boards have any stain on them. They are naturally colored. Every cutting board is a one of a kind and hot overall dimensions and wood strip width can vary slightly.

These colors really go well with each other and will give your kitchen a pop of color. With Cherry as the base and wide strips of Purple Heart with Walnut outlining and providing a great contrasting look, this board is sure to be an eye catcher when guest come over. Now the Purple Heart color will vary from board to board. Sometimes it will be darker a more plum purple to a maroon color. Just depends on how much light the board has gotten.
CARE: Hand wash with warm water and mild soap only, then towel dry immediately or stand on end. DO NOT put the cutting board in the dishwasher or submerge in water. We recommend coating your cutting board with our hand blended mixture of mineral oil and bees wax board conditioner once every couple of months. If your board endures heavy daily use, you can refinish it more often as needed. We provide a 2oz tin of our board conditioner with every board purchased.
