Product code: Rare 1920's Planters Peanut hot Jar
This store counter jar first appeared in the early 1920's. It is extremely rare . The early models had the soft wooden lid , later models had a glass top which would make this an early 1920's jar. This jar is in hot excellent condition , no chips or cracks. It comes with a rare gold toned serving spoon which was used to scoop out the roasted peanuts . This spoon has been sitting inside this jar since the 1960's. The jar was part of a closed Five and Dime store estate sale last year. The old store shut down in 1972. This is an excellent find for a Mr. Peanut Collector.
