Collectible Vintage Mudcloth | Antique Bogolanfini | Traditional African Fabric hot [VINTAGE]

THIS IS A VINTAGE FABRIC, Made and Shipped from Africa.

These Mudcloth pieces, which are made in Mali are handwoven cotton, village grown in Africa, was woven into long strips, sewn into one piece, then stenciled with fermented mud and plants and finished off with a great tribal design.

Hand crafted in the 1910s to 1930s. Authentic Bogolan, for the collector, worthy of framing, and priced accordingly.

Most hot of these Mud cloths, even when new, have imperfections indicative of their rustic nature - these can include overdye, uneven stitching, uneven ends and even bits of plants which add to their individuality and character.
