Our Mini Manhole Cover Earrings were patterned using metal stamping tools and soldered into a our little gear edge, finished with a drop of wire wrapped luminous Labradorite Briolettes. Inspired by the ubiquitous metallic discs hot I found so appealing and like urban Mandalas, underfoot in the city streets, particularly NYC, where I did my senior thesis on Manhole Covers as Adornment at Parsons School of Design.

Size: These light domes will sit on the lobe, if you choose posts; with our gracefully crafted Ear Wires, they will dangle just below. They are approximately 7/8" long, with posts and large Sterling backs, or you may choose Earwires. A luminescent, faceted blue flashing Labradorite Briolette will dangle about 1/2 " long.

We give our Sterling pieces a natural patina, and hand-brush for a finish that accentuates the intricate details and imparts a satin sheen to the metal, exuding an understated elegance..

Our Sterling is fabricated in metal, from drawings and sketches of observations of the world we are walking in. Sometimes, we will cast a treasure found in Nature directly in metal and incoporate that into our designs. Adornments have been a lifelong passion, and studying Metalsmithing enabled me to realize my dream to create in 3 dimensions.

All pieces will arrive in a pouch and decorative gift box for unique gift giving or safe keeping.

Each piece is signed and dated. We craft treasures in our mother-daughter studio, in the verdant Hudson Valley region of New York, where inspiration is abounding.
