Rare, Set of 7, Vintage, Royal Albert Bone hot China Plates, 1966, Paragon, "Athena", English Salad or Dessert Plates, Gold Trim

This listing, is for a set of seven vintage plates. They were made in England by Royal Albert. The Back stamp says Paragon, and the pattern is Athena. The plates were made in 1966. They are 8 inches and are dessert or salad plates. They are a bright white, with a gold band around the rim and black details. They are vintage and pre- owned but are in good condition. They are free from chips and cracks. The gold detail is intact. They have the odd very light utensil mark, but nothing very obvious, and I had to hold them up to a light source to detect these. The only other little flaws I detected was that one plate has a small yellow spot on the surface, which I was unable to remove with cleaning. Also, a second plate has a small 1cm x 1cm patch of the rim hot pattern on the rear. I am not sure how this came about. Perhaps it was a manufacturing error, or some gilding transferred during storage. However, I cannot see any gold loss from the other plates to match this. Despite this they are a delightful set and are in very good shape given their age . They only seem to have seen light use.
