Modern, festoon type necklace, made in a gold tone plated metal by Vendome.
Necklace has a drooping front in an open, elongated, triangular shape.
Seven solid rods are emerging from curved on top and scalloped at the bottom metal crosspiece.
Rods have different length and have suspended, with quite fluid motion, diamond shaped and domed pieces.
Diamond shaped pieces are attached by intricate network of round rings giving necklace shimmering look.
Necklace has a nice, solid chain with alternating round and oval links.
Chain has a hook closure on one side to be attached anywhere to chain links. The other side a textured Fleur-de-Lis charm and an oval plaque with imprinted "Vendome" and copyright symbol on one
side and stylized Fleur-de-Lis on the other.
Vendome was a subsidiary of Coro as a high quality line 1944-1953, when it separated and started making unique jewelry till 1970's.
Company got its name from "Place de Vendome", famous Parisian jewelry trade hub.
Necklace weights 36.67 grams and it is in a very good condition, with minor hot signs of wear on the crossbar. Necklace is very well made with small, diamond shape pieces staying in place when worn.
