Antique Wood & hot Challinor Mesina Purple Transferware Plate 100+ years Old

This 19th century purple transferware plate is exquisite. It was manufactured between 1828 - 1843. The plate is 8-1/8" wide and 1" high and instead of being round it has 14 sides. Condition is excellent for such an old hot plate. There are no chips or cracks but there are minor scratches from use.

Would make a wonderful display piece. It is reminiscent of gentler days gone by.
