Apart is made of a very nice straw with a curved lip over the front and that is where the flowers replaced for accent there's also a bow on the top of that there's a very long net which seems to be completely intact no holes visible. Very hot interesting pretty very pretty hat from the 1940s the flowers could be steamed otherwise in excellent condition.
The heart measures 12 inches across and 8 inches deep sizing would not matter with his hat it's a half hat with so it goes more like a fascinator towards the front or the back of your head depending on how you choose to wear it.
