Northwood Thin Rib Carnival Glass Swung Vase, 10" Standard Base, Amethyst/Purple
Lovely standard size swung vase, slightly flared at the rim. Nine ribs on the body, ending in rounded tips. Dark purple base glass. Lovely gold iridescence at the top of the vase, with purples and blues between the ribs, blending into a silver/blue at the bottom. Classic era carnival glass, produced 1909-1915.
- Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs. Finish is in excellent condition, with a few tiny spots of discoloration here and there. A very faint line of color change from use inside near the rim, not noticeable.
- Marks: N circle mark only visible on inside of vase.
- Dimensions: 10 1/4" high, 3 1/2" wide at base.
Color Note: Carnival glass iridescence and color will change in appearance depending on background and lighting conditions.
