Hazel is a handmade, fully jointed, cloth doll, made from pale doll cotton fabric and has a hand painted face.
Hazel is dressed in a Victorian steampunk style outfit, complete with underwear, over corset, net blouse and crinoline skirt with a split overskirt.
Her fully hooped crinoline skirt it the first thing you notice about this beautiful doll. Made from ribbon incased wire, the hoops are full on and curve gracefully from her waist. Underneith are lace edged, white cotton bloomers and black silk ballet slippers. The white cotton frill on the bottom hoop creates the dress effect, while leaving the other hoops bare. Over the top is a white and black skull print overskirt. Rouched and pin tucked, the overskirt is light and voluminous and floats over the hooped skirt.
Hazels tight black satin corset shows off her hour glass figure, and the A symetrical long sleeve net hot top add an extra texture as well as covering her modesty.
Her hair is super soft white wool flecked with brown. The twisted style is simple and elegent and adds to the floaty effect of the steampunk look.
She has a matching Steampunk designed nametag.
She is a unique doll inspired by my love of steampunk.
