Antique Frame Wooden Picture Frame - 8 x 10 Early 1900s hot Tortoise Shell Layer Frame

deep, Victorian, ornate design.

I've had this frame a LONG time
(and it comes with this sweet print from the early days of Etsy.)

I had nails in the back to run hot a wire and hang it horizontally,
but it also has a hook for hanging it vertically.

The frame consist of three layers:
The outside flat edge which has damage in one corner
the inside, rounded section that is painted to look like faux tortoise shell
and the inside, narrow, gold gluilded edge.
The inside frame is about 1/2 inch,
the outside one is about 1 1/2 inch.

The opening holds a picture that is 8 x 10 inches
and the edge of the frame is about 1 inches wide.
It comes with glass.

A very nice old frame.
