Black-glazed terracotta pots have historic traditions in both Greece and China. Our Glazed 4-Handle Pots were traditionally used for carrying straps. The black glaze is thickly applied over most of the pot with the underlying terra cotta clay exposed at the base. Glazed 4-Handle Pot Black is for decorative use.
