However, if your bust and waist are more than one size apart (i.e size 12 bust with an 8 waist) I will contact you and let you know it's considered a custom order and non-refundable if we proceed. This also includes dresses that are special ordered to be shorter. It's nearly impossible for me to resell such pieces, thank you for understanding.
SIZING: I get hundreds of sizing questions every year requesting the dress measurements. This isn't the the most effective way to get the right size. (It's a more common process with one size vintage purchases) Please, just order the size you usually wear with your favorite retailers and then include your BODY measurements during checkout. That's the only way to have the best fit. I try to respond to questions as quickly as possible but as I am a one-man-band I'm trying to eliminate unnecessary emailing. I also will custom size up to size 28 at no additional cost. Again, just select a size and include your bust, waist, hip measurements. Thanks!
This dress is inspired by a 1930s design. It's sewn from soft, rustic homespun. The buttons are not just cute but also functional. Flat front pockets, pleated back (for ease of movement) and a side zipper. This comfortable dress is perfect for special events or just doing housework on the weekend. The material is pre-shrunk so this dress is washing machine and dryer friendly. I recommend washing all of your cotton garments in cold and not over drying for longevity.
I love this dress so much. Even my toddler asked if I'd sew her one... I might just have to so we can match!
