This Mala hot is hand-knotted with Quartz, Amazonite, Sea Sediment Jasper and a Jasper guru bead on a sturdy nylon cord in a beautiful ombre pattern with a handmade tassel. We use nylon for cording as it is stronger over time and is not subject to as much stretch, breakage and fraying. We also wanted to recognize that nylon is vegan and cruelty free.
Your Mala will come with information explaining Malas and their spiritual origins, uses, and care as well as a card describing the individual stone properties featured on your particular Mala. A fabric drawstring bag is included for storage when not in use.
Each piece is made to order for you using only the highest quality materials.

// What are Malas? //
Mala beads are used to set intentions, meditate, or simply wear for beauty and positive energy. You can use the beads to count your mantra or to count your breath while meditating. A mantra is a sound, word or group of words repeated during meditation to help create focus, calm the mind, and support self-transformation. 108 beads plus a 109th Guru(teacher) bead are traditional as 108 has many significant meanings in Buddhist and other cultures.
// Other Information //
Our items are made with natural and semi-precious stones; therefore, there will be some variability in sizes, shapes and colors. However, I can assure you that each piece will be beautiful. A lot of care goes into choosing the materials used in each and every piece.
Beaded work jewelry is delicate, so when getting dressed it should be the last piece on and the first to take off. Also, avoid immersing in water and leaving out in high temperatures.
If your mala should break, there's no need to worry. A broken mala is not a bad or negative thing but rather a positive sign of personal growth. Many people believe that a broken mala represents a breakthrough. It signifies the end of a cycle or original intention. It's an opportunity for you to work towards a new intention. That said, I will restring any broken mala within 60 days of purchase.
