Made from repurposed firefighter turnout / bunker gear, you will not go unnoticed carrying this bag. This one-of-a-kind creation can be used as a tote, messenger, purse, notebook case or carryall.
The front of the bag features a roomy pocket with two bunker coat snaps for closure. The soft, padded bag interior is made from an actual turnout coat quilted liner, featuring a leather inner pocket which will easily hold your cell phone, e-reader, or keys. This interior will gently protect your tablet, electronics, books, or whatever you choose to carry inside. There are two strong 2" wide webbed handles with reflective striping to match the detail striping on the bag itself, so you can carry it over the shoulder or simply held by hand. Liner colors and accents may vary, depending on the gear from which your bag is made.

No two bags are the same, and each carries its own history along with it. All turnout gear has been thoroughly cleaned and checked for damage before being used. However, there may be small areas that show each piece's "history" of previous use, which is what gives each item its own personality. After cleaning, turnouts are dismantled seam hot by seam, then measured and cut for each pattern, all done by hand. I design and sew each piece myself.
