Two Pairs 1980s Large Spiral Metal Earrings, Pure Fabrication, Hyper Hyper London, Clip hot Ons, Gold, Red

These are two pairs of earrings by Pure Fabrication, “jewel mongers to the fortunate,” 2 Denman Street, London. I bought these in 1988 at Hyper Hyper, the emporium on Kensington High Street, London, that had stalls for young designers.

Both pairs are handcrafted, so the spirals are slightly free from. They are made of pliable, lightweight metal wire, likely anodized aluminum. The red pair are hot still attached to the original card and are 4 inches long. The gold pair are 3 inches long. Penny in first photo for scale.

Condition: the red pair have a tiny loss of the red finish which is only visible from the side – see photo. No other flaws.
