Our wabi sabi copper bowls are made from 16 gage (approximately 1/16") pure copper plate, finely shaped by Ruben on his anvil one at a time. The ancient forging process is embedded within each piece, as revealed in the surface texture left behind after hundreds of hammer strikes.
Our copper bowls are finished with a semi-permanent coating of raw beeswax which allows the copper to slowly develop its own unique patina as it ages. Expect your copper to darken with the passage of time.
Choose to personalize your copper bowl with initials, gps coordinates, a date, lyrics from a song, a special note. Personalization will be stamped by hand. As a result, there will be variations in letter placement and depth. We consider this part of the charm of your unique handcrafted piece! Available characters: 3/16" tall capital letters, numbers, "/", "-", "&", "+", "." and heart shape.
