What is coco coir?
It's the fibrous layer of a coconut's husk between the hard shell and the meat.
The coconut industry has no use for it, it's tossed aside once the meat is harvested. With a lot of skill and a pinch of magic, the artisans breathe new life into it in the form of endearing animal planters.
