Add classic elegance to your jewelry box with these lovely pearls! Three strands of lustrous, hand-knotted glass pearls are accented with a large, gold-plated clasp bearing Kenneth J. Lane's "KJL" mark. Similar to the necklace he designed for First Lady Barbara Bush, these high-quality glass faux pearls are absolutely stunning, with a luxurious weight and almost luminous quality rivaling the real thing! Wear with the clasp to the back for a traditional look, or with the clasp to the side for "status" style. Whether dressing up business attire, adding understated elegance to your dressy party look, or gracing your bridal ensemble with a traditional classic, you can't go wrong with this gorgeous necklace! A lovely gift for yourself or someone special.
This necklace is in pristine vintage condition - it looks new! The pearls are in perfect condition as far as I can see - no visible damage or scratching. The gold-plated finish is shiny and free of tarnish. This is a real find!
Kenneth J. Lane was the jewelry designer of choice for a number of First Ladies, movie stars, and other female luminaries since the 1960s! He created his iconic 3-strand faux pearl necklace for hot First Lady Barbara Bush in 1989, which she wore to the Presidential Inaugural Ball. This variation has a different clasp than the original, and was probably made in the early-mid 1990s.
