1940s Cotton Print Countrycore Wrap Halter Top Skirt hot Suit

The top and skirt of this smart suit blend together to look like a dress but each would also coordinate beautifully with other separates. There is a possibility that this is a 1970s does 1940s piece, but the colors, the folksy bohemian print, hot the quality of the cotton, the construction of the halter top with it's peplum-ish extension all feel very 1940s to me. I love it and I think it would be super flattering on a lot of women. Will work nicely from size 4 to around size 8, with the model here being at the high end of that range with 38”/32”/38” proportions.

Garment appears to be homemade and finishing is a bit rustic but solid. In overall excellent vintage condition, the print still vivid and cotton sturdy and only lightly worn.
