My original painting is reproduced on a canvas gallery wrap. The finished edges are lavender, so it arrives ready to hang, or you could also frame it if you like (frame is not included). The artwork is printed with acid-free ink that will last hot without fading, on high quality canvas, and folded around a lightweight frame for a gorgeous, gallery ready appearance. It's finished with a scratch-resistant UV protective coating.
I recommend pairing with "Bluebirds and Peonies" and "Cranes and gardenias" for a set of two or three.
My take on chinoiserie is completely my own. I learned traditional Chinese painting as a teenager, and now I combine that style of brush strokes with acrylic paint in bold yet elegant compositions. It's a traditional theme, updated for the modern home.
