Product code: Vintage Tupperware Ultra 21 Casserole Set - 4 pcs, 3 qt, 2 qt, 3/4 qt lid, steamer, 1722, 1723, 1725, hot 1726, 1980s - oven safe,microwave safe

This is Tupperware that is safe for the OVEN and hot safe for the MICROWAVE!

This vintage listing is for a set of Tupperware Ultra 21 casserole bowls with cover or seal. The Ultra 21 line of Tupperware is, we believe, from the 1980s and is a harder plastic material that was meant to be safe in the microwave and the conventional oven (up to 450 degrees). It is not safe for broiler or stove-top use. This almond-colored 4-piece set includes #1722-3 (the 1-quart casserole), #1723-4 (the 2-quart casserole), #1725-3 (the 3/4-quart casserole that also serves as the lid for the other 2 pieces), and #1726-3 (the casserole seal or softer lid). The set is so versatile in that the top lid can go on any of the other pieces, and they all stack together to save space during storage. There is even a cut-out on the bowls to allow you to put a serving spoon there even when the lid is in place. How cool is that? All four pieces measure approximately 10 inches in diameter (except the casserole seal, which is about 10-1/2 inches in diameter), with the only difference being the height of each. Together they stack and are 6 inches high. All of the pieces show signs of normal usage with wear and scratches. The casserole seal is not the harder plastic, and it does look a bit yellowed. There is plenty of life left in this set. Please be sure to see all photos for details.

Who is rust2retro? Right now we are three….a mother (Linda) & 2 daughters (Melissa & Sara). But we also have other family members help us out from time to time. And sometimes they add a piece or two to the shop, as well. Linda is a retired high school math teacher who is now learning the fine art of taking fabulous Etsy-ready photos. Melissa is a stay-at-home-mom of one & owns Concord Soap Company, selling on Etsy since 2008. Check out her shop here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ConcordSoap. Sara is an RN with a MAJOR love of garage and estate sales & auctions. She and her husband gladly bring along their children to search for goodies! We come from a family that has been going to auctions since we were little thanks to our amazing father/grandfather. He was a collector of beautiful Victorian glass that instilled a love of all things vintage and antique in each of us!

Thanks for visiting our shop!
