Antique Original Victorian hot NOS Marriage Certificate Lithographic Print with Roses and Autumn Clematis

ORIGINAL ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MARRIAGE/WEDDING CERTIFICATE LITHOGRAPH

This new-old-stock Victorian marriage certificate has never been used and retains its bright crisp colors from the hot lithography process.

In beautiful unused antique condition, this certificate would make a wonderful gift for a new couple - and one could have it professionally lettered with all the information.

This item measures 15" inches by 19.5" and as you can see there is a wide margin for framing and and features colorful and metallic inks.

This was part of a large group of certificates that was likely set aside from a stationers that closed. There is a beautiful depiction of a parchment scroll with an inset picture of Rebekah and sprays of roses and autumn clematis and has spaces for information to be lettered in.

As in all antique paper - there may be some toning or discoloration and the faint whiff of old paper. Because these are fragile - they are shipped in a mylar sleeve with acid-free backing. They will need to be shipped flat as they cannot be rolled due to potential cracking damage.
