Our collection of Sofia Kammeborn is an exclusive listing imported directly from the designer who lives and works outside of Wisby on the Isle of Gotland, Sweden. They feature traditional Swedish motif and patterwork, and are perfectly suited to use with our farm yarn, produced with 100% Gotland wool grown and shorn in Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania. Each Kit listing includes the complete pattern booklet and enough yarn necessary to complete the article.
Roses are Red, Violets are Blue is a lovely structured mitt pattern featuring a modern play on a traditional Swedish motif. This listing includes 4 skeins - 1 skein each of our Tamarack Gotland Natural Light Gray, with either Natural Medium or Dark Gray (our choice), Gold and Red, 3-ply medium DK weight yarns. Our fiber is hand dyed here on the farm using Cushing Dyes before sent to the mill for processing to our specifications. We are a no kill farm and use natural dyes, local mills and processors.
