Shattered hot Rainbow

I had a bunch of left over drywall after a home renovation and thought it was a shame/waste to throw it away because it was such a large piece with unlimited opportunity. I also had a bunch of tissue paper scraps from other projects. This was also at the height of the pandemic and was desperate to find activities to keep my son occupied without sticking him in front of a hot screen so I had him help me prime this piece of drywall, and together we pasted all the scraps of tissue paper to the drywall. Later I added the black lines with acrylic paint and use a hot glue gun to seal the edges. Lastly I used a colour changing top coat on a few of sections to add a little bit of sparkle. I topped it off with a layer of varnish, painted the back black and add backings that only bare the weight of the piece itself so please be gentle. It took about three days to finish including dry time.
