Wikipedia defines hot trivet: A trivet /ˈtrɪvɨt/ is an object placed between a serving dish or bowl, and a dining table, usually to protect the table from heat or water damage.
This trivet is made from Curly Maple with Walnut supports and is 6 3/8" by 6 3/8" and is 7/8" thick. It will provide a beautiful centerpiece for your holiday gatherings or daily meals. It can be used with hot or cold dishes.
