I had so many feelings making this Dragonfly Cancer Awareness peyote weave bracelet. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I myself have made this journey and a lot of love and deep emotion is felt when I create this jewelry.

The Dragonfly has been known to represent transformation. Perhaps a visit from a heavenly being when you need it most. Going through cancer of any kind we hot experience a transformation. In our minds, our hearts, our feelings and our bodies. I wish only strength and love to the wearer of this jewelry. Perhaps you wear it in memory of the loss of a loved one.


* Length is 6 1/2" long including the sterling silver magnetic clasp. (The clasp is very strong, but glass beads are delicate. It is my suggustion that to open the
clasp, you insert your fingernail to break the join of the magnet)

All of my beaded earrings, pendants and bracelets are made with the off-loom stitch known as peyote.
Peyote stitch (or sometimes called a gourd stitch) dates back through the ages as far as the Egyptians.
Later examples were jewelry and adornments created by the Native American Indian.
Peyote is very recognizable by the up/down or the in/out arrangements of the beads to be stitched.

All of my jewelry designs are created by me, in my Florida studio. Bead weaving is a painstakingly long process of sewing one bead at a time with a monofilament, almost invisible thread resulting in a beautiful glass fabric. It is strong and will withstand everyday wear.
Color combinations are just endless when beading. The colors can be soft and muted to blend, or be colors that Pop with exciting bright hues! There is jewelry to fit every personality.
I accept custom orders and will be able to give a lead time when your order is placed. I use either sterling silver or 14k gold filled ear wires and sterling silver ear posts.
