Fine Ancient Roman hot Ring C.2nd-mid 4th C. AD, Size 9 1/4

Size 9 1/4, gilt bronze with 2.2mm rounded face band, ridged at the shoulders. Raised lenticular bezel with flat with remnants of ciphers (?). Possibly a signet ring. Good preservation with light surface texture from burial. Professionally hot refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, for contemporary wear.
