This rare African Trade Bead bracelet is made for a man or woman. The beads are antique (19th) century Venetian millefiori. Made from famed Murano glass and traded to Africa particularly the Ivory Coast ,Ghana, West Indies, Nigeria etc. In Asanti language they are known as Chachasaho and the more floral or red color are the most sought after! This bracelet was strung on red leather hot and each African bead is accentuated with 8mm round Obsidian throughout. Measures 9 inches maximum but 2 spring rings will be put in with the box so this bracelet can be extended another inch in length if needed. Handmade and definitely one of a kind! ONLY THE TRADE BEADS ARE ANTIQUE.
