Antique French dish hand or kitchen towel plain linen with DD initials monogram 18th Century farmhouse hot country style design
hot This wonderful antique French linen towel dates from the late 18th century! I have several of these towels that I am selling individually so each quantity will be for ONE of these towels. This country towel is gorgeous plain linen with a wonderful natural floppy texture! There is a little "DD" monogram in faded red which varies slightly from towel to towel, but always appears in one corner. This towel is in great condition with only light signs of age and use! Also this piece would be lovely for small cutting projects. The tone is a pale a lovely natural white with a great floppy texture, nubby and heavy! ~ Each edge is stitched with a hem and the ends are selvage. They would make a beautiful, just off from matching towel set if purchased in quantity! ~*~ These textiles also make stunning pillows, upholstery fabric, etc ~ ~ ( EN303 )
MEASUREMENTS : Each of these towels measure approximately 24.5 inches by 49 inches. (The size may vary slightly as I am selling multiples of this style of towel)
CONDITION : These towels are freshly laundered! Since I am selling several towels here separately, be aware that the condition, texture, minor details, and size may vary slightly between each. Great condition for it's age, but there are a few small pale marks. Some marks may wash, but they may not wash fully. Since I am selling several of these towels individually, the condition may vary from towel to towel. Still in very sturdy, very usable, gorgeous condition! Please see above ~*~ ( condition reflected in the price)
