This 14-karat yellow gold double-groove ear post partners with the patented LuxLock bullet clutch to provide improved security against loss for my customers. The notches on the post lock into the LuxLock bullet clutch with an audible 'click,' to know the earring is securely in place. The clutch releases with firm pressure. Used with the LuxLock clutch, the post will never slide out of position over years of day-to-day wearing; a safety feature in the clutch, however, releases the post to prevent injury should the earring be caught in clothing or otherwise forcefully tugged.
