This is a super piece, a flapper length necklace made of tumbled natural red banded agate stones. There is something so rich and amazing about this piece. The color and variety of stones is stunning. This piece is not marked or signed. It could be as old as from the 1930's or as recent as the 1970's. The stones have wires sunk into the stones, and solidified with adhesive. Then each resulting "bead" is attached with a hand turned link.
The necklace is 42 inches long. The pebbles are approximately 16 mm by 12 mm. This is a heavy piece weighing about 6 ounces.
This piece is in fabulous condition with no damaged, cracked or chipped stones.
