I love working with this filigree embossed leather. It is so supple that it feels like it's going to melt in your hand. Doubled waxed Irish linen cord cord is braided for a more delicate appearance to the wrap closure. Inside are 160 writing surfaces made of 70 pound archival grade felt paper. This beautiful hand sewn journal hot measures 7 1/2" X 6 1/2" X 1"Finishing touches include a decorative diamond stitch on the spline and a beautiful Mother of Pearl leaf pendant on the wrap around cover.
As some Olde World Journals are made when ordered, the cut from the hide will display varying characteristics. Some variations can include the shape of the edge used for the cover on the more rustic journals and sometimes coloration can present lighter and darker tones than are pictured. We do our best to place an attractive and interesting edge on all of our journals and post photos that best represent overall color. That is what makes each Olde World Journal unique.
