THIS LISTING IS FOR THE LINEN CARDSTOCK VERSION OF TAROT VANDESTIJL

TAROT VANDESTIJL is a tarot deck inspired by the popular tarot pattern called Tarot de Marseille and the striking abstract geometric art of the Dutch art movement, De Stijl. The cards feature the tarot's figures transforming and reforming into geometric abstractions and back again. It is a tightrope balance between the abstract and the figurative.

The partially abstract and geometric imagery adds a new dimension to tarot reading: patterns and flows are created when the cards are laid out together on a table, and the reader can utilize these to aid their readings.

It also comes with a free card - The Happy Squirrel card, a popular pop culture addition (care of the animated television series The Simpsons) to tarot and its lore.

Tarot de Marseille's card names are traditionally (even unapologetically in French) - TAROT VANDESTIJL's card names, meanwhile, are unapologetically in Dutch to honor the the De Stijl art movement which was one of the inspirations for the deck.

DECK DETAILS

The cards are printed in smooth 310gsm LINEN casino-quality playing cardstock, at around a 2.75" by 4.75" "standard tarot" size - very easy on the hands when it comes to shuffling and handling. The deck comes in a white tuckbox that has a clear plastic window at the front.

On Shipping

Shipping takes approximately 1-2 weeks for US shipments and approximately 2-4 weeks for international shipments. Items can arrive earlier, but I want to set people's expectations this early on.

The deck will be shipped directly from the printers/manufacturers. This helps both of us (you and me) save time and money because:

1. It will take less time for you to receive your deck (since the printers won't have it sent to me first, and me forward it to you).
2. Shipping costs won't add up (since the deck will be sent directly to you).
3. The shipping rates from the printers are more affordable than had my products been shipped from my country.

As for tariffs and taxes, here's the printers' statement about it: “Recipients are responsible for any customs duties or taxes imposed by that country, which are collected by the carrier upon delivery. Please check with your local government agency or contact us for more information.”
