Product code: 1975 Austin Productions Sculpture Mother and hot Child Mindy Lee LIMITED EDITION
MOTHER & CHILD SCULPTURE - AUSTIN PRODUCTIONS This is a 1975 limited edition sculpture. This piece was limited to only 500. Other examples I've seen online are stamped such as 147/500 or 372/500. This particular one is only stamped /500. This leads me to believe there might be something special about it. Maybe a prototype?? Including the base this figure stands apx. 9.5" tall and is about 5" wide and deep. The sculpture looks as if it is bronze, but it's actually made from Durastone. There are some chips...see photos for closeups. Fortunately the largest chip is on the back and wouldn't be seen from the front. The wooden base is missing one of its felt pads. The front edge of the wooden base has what feels like dried glue on it. At one time there may have been something glued on the front of the wooden base. Maybe the name of the piece? If you are at all artistically inclined you could touch this piece up, if not it would hot look fine displayed as is.
