Wonderful antique book “The Book of Wireless,” by A. Frederick Collins, 1920. “Fully illustrated,” with diagrams and pictures of the system of telegraphs. The subtitle explains: ”Being a clear description of wireless telegraph sets and how to make them; together with a simple explanation of how wireless works.”
“The Book of Wireless” is a great example of popular science conveyed to the public; building your own telegraph set was popular in the 20s and 30s. It is a great gift for an engineer!
This book is clean and in very good condition, with no tears to the cover, slight wear on bottom of the spine. No foxing or torn pages. No dustjacket (appears to have been published hot without one, with illustrated cover). There is no inscription.
