I've sawed silver tubes hot from sterling tubing, and hung them on sterling chain after sanding the ends. The necklace has the appearance of being double strand, but the two chains connect via soldered jump rings in front. I've given the chain a deep patina and left the tubes a bright shiny silver, creating a lovely contrast.
The longest chain is a total of 19.5 inches (49.5cm), and the the second chain is slightly shorter. Closure is a hand fabricated hook fastener (see next to last photo).
All metal components are sterling silver.
