This little beauty, with her clear green eyes and thick, dark hair dressed in festive ribbons and curls, is so cheerful and fresh in her holiday attire! Felt coat with rolled toggles in a happy Christmas green, and loop closure, has patch pockets and a pinned flap detail at lower sleeve, with green bead for a button, surprising and pleasing details. Deep forest green, triangular tabs secure each toggle loop and provide contrast and further visual interest, working back to the satin finish coat lining. Wide, ribbon candy stripe ribbon is the perfect choice for her snappy skirt with crisp pleats. It is one piece with the sleeveless bodice of a linen weave cotton. She wears white opaque tights and black patent finish Mary Jane shoes with a dressy taper to the toe and side snap fastener. Three shiny beads form the berries to the holly sprig on her matching felt beret. Her fantastic gift tower echoes all the colors in her ensemble and transition us into the Holiday spirit any time of year!
MY MISSION: I provide a doll for you that is fully ready for display on arrival at your home, beautiful and sturdy. Any flaws I detect which I could not remedy will be documented in the listing and doll priced accordingly. I keep extensive computer files on each listing with doll and box images.)The boxes, being the original homes for the dolls, are in variable condition, dependent on the original owner's care and storage. I will always mention box condition with the listing, or sleep eyes that open manually.
MY PROCESS: I remove from the box to re-style the hair and inspect/correct for anything that might be remiss. I feel this step is more important than listing "never removed from box." There are a few noteworthy exceptions, when I SPECIFICALLY KNOW THE HISTORY of the doll and habits of original owner. My patrons will know there will be no loose snaps, no tangled locks, damaged apron strings, no fragile, weakened rubber bands, ( I re-string when needed) no stained or faded clothing or problems with undergarments, no necklaces trapped in the neck or tresses. I restring with elastic cord, the preferred archival choice of "doll doctors."
MY PRICES: I calculate on: How readily available (or, conversely, hard to find,) whether complete with all accessories, my costs, my labor, condition of restored doll returned to box after completing the work. To include a doll stand with your order, please add $1.00 to your total.
